AVI ON FIRE is the new and first solo project of Bram Wesdorp. Quirky songs that are guaranteed to get stuck in your head. Alternative pop music with a touch of Foster the People, some MGMT, Phoenix and Foals, but most of all AVI. The first single ‘Pearls’ was released in the summer of 2016 and got over 750k plays on Spotify within 4 months. With this single AVI was invited to play on Dutch national television, became ‘3FM Serious Talent’ and got a lot of attention on international blogs. J’Oak, Genre: Disco Hitjes
Philou Louzolo is a very promising DJ and producer from Rotterdam. With electronic captured in an African soul, he’s making a name for himself in Holland and far beyond. Louzolo’s signature sound is also his message: representing the pan-african culture and voice in the electronic music arena. He excels in an effortless musical marriage of electronic music and traditional music from the continent that carries his roots. Philou is aware about socially-political issues within the industry and keen to step into the break for his ideals. His feature on an EP with the legendary Larry Heard on the A side in 2016 earned him recognition from around the world. The many festivals and clubs Louzolo performed at, illustrate his progressive and unique sound. A few names: P-Bar, Nuits Sonores, Dekmantel Selectors, North Sea Jazz, Lowlands and Atlas (Marrakech). At Atlas Festival he was flanked by a Moroccan live-act Bana.
After receiving widespread recognition for books like “How Does He Do It?” and “Glorious Misunderstandings”, Maurits Verwoerd decided to start a career as a music producer. Though few doubted his skills as an artist, most of Maurits’ neighbours thought differently about his compositions, forcing him to start producing music in the underground dungeons of Amsterdam. Coming out occasionally, but only at night, slowly made him well known among friends and enemies as Nachtbraker (Dutch for night hawk). Nachtbraker’s exposure to a wide range of genres are clearly audible in his music, ranging from ecstatic slow grooves and unconventional dub tracks to straight-up 4/4 house.
Piñata is a six-piece band from the beachside surf community of Scheveningen in the Netherlands. Their performances are an explosion of summer-infused party music, combining energetic reggae, ska, hip hop and pop, with latin, dubstep, mariachi and more.
